ABOUT ITLU AMMA
Itlu Amma peaks of the need for the universal motherhood that emphasizes the responsibility of sharing love with all born on this planet without any sort of discrimination based on region, race, religion, caste, language etc. It stresses for prime societal concern (particularly by women) for worldly challenges of hunger, disease, poverty, and war.
The film revolves around a traditional widow, who transforms from a person of socio-psychological isolation to a person with the spirit of universal motherhood, social commitment and activism.
